Upgrade your tillage equipment to a superior model made of high-quality steel

Swedish fine-grained steel facilitates the production of lighter cultivation machines, enhancing their width and efficiency. Advanced technology for manufacturing reinforced structural steels enables the use of high-strength materials not only in the working parts of the cultivation machine but also in heavily loaded elements of the three-point linkage tower, main frame parts, and all perforated components susceptible to breakage and adjustment mechanisms. Main frame parts that are particularly stressed are made of high-strength steel, offering several times higher strength compared to traditional construction materials. Cultivation machines made of Swedish fine-grained structural steels exhibit significantly longer service life in demanding field work.

The materials utilized form the foundation for the high productivity of the agricultural equipment

The reliability of agricultural machinery is critical to work efficiency and market competitiveness. Therefore, we prioritize the quality of materials and the technological excellence of our products. Our products exhibit exceptional resistance to impact and abrasion, providing customers with durable parts that ensure safe and trouble-free operation. High surface pressure on the load-bearing elements of cultivation machinery leads to wear on the steel used in agricultural machinery. Strong field impacts on the machine frame demand the raw material to be extremely hard and durable. Rolmako machines are made of S500 and S700 structural steel, meeting all the requirements of modern agricultural equipment. This choice of material is ideal for producing agricultural equipment subjected to heavy loads and wear.

Thick-walled structural profiles and pipes with enhanced strength

Thyssenkrupp supplies our steel sections for constructing large machine frames. Certified pipes and profiles made of S355 structural steel used in Rolmako machines feature wall thicknesses ranging from 6-12 mm. The heavy profiles enable the achievement of proper pressure on the soil for each working element of the cultivation machine. A single supplier ensures repeatability and consistent production quality. Modern laser processing methods for pipes and profiles optimize structural strength by connecting profiles with technological locks, enhancing subsequent welding processes for agricultural equipment frames. Laser-cut holes in the sections remain intact over prolonged use due to their precise fit with the machine components.

Working components that enhance soil cultivation efficiency

Working elements are specifically adapted to meet our customers' needs. Farmers can select from impact-resistant boron steel parts, parts reinforced with wear-resistant welds, or parts equipped with sintered carbide for fields with minimal obstacles. Particularly during the season, farmers require their machines and wear parts to function reliably. Our components, capable of withstanding high loads, provide effective soil mixing and are cost-efficient. Recognizing these needs, we have established partnerships with leading suppliers of working parts. Utilizing extensive technical expertise and years of experience, the wear parts we offer are produced in the world’s finest factories specializing in abrasion-resistant components. The principal suppliers include OFAS, INDUSTRIEHOF, BELLOTA, AMA, and other companies with extensive experience in machining working parts. In summary, these parts match the quality of those used in the market's most expensive agricultural machinery. The highest durability spare parts are available in our warehouses at relatively low acquisition costs.

Metal processing technologies enable precise fitting of components

The technology developed over the years necessitates specialized production means and substantial investment to achieve sustainable outcomes. Rolmako has been advancing in this direction from its inception. The application of laser techniques in processing sheets, pipes, and profiles facilitates high-quality cutting of hard sheets, where conventional drilling methods are difficult and costly. The employed processing technologies achieve accuracy within +/- 0.1 mm. This precision in creating holes at adjustment points and other heavily loaded parts of the machine significantly extends its service life. Using high-quality steel materials is ineffective without precise alignment of machine parts, such as pins and screw connections. The precision of holes created using laser technology ensures that even after prolonged operation of the agricultural machine, the hole diameters remain unchanged. Connecting sheets and profiles with technological locks ensures high production repeatability and stronger welding connections in the agricultural machines we produce.

Flexibility and durability achieved through specialized structural steels

The agricultural machinery we manufacture operates under challenging conditions. Exposure to abrasion, chemical compounds, and mechanical damage necessitates the selection of appropriate steel grades for construction. Specially hardened Swedish steel enhances the longevity of pre-sowing aggregates, disc harrows, stubble cultivators, and other cultivation machines in the Rolmako product range. Its application aims to maximize efficiency through extended use and lower operating costs per hectare. Fine-grained structural steel used in central bodies and wings of cultivation frames combines high hardness with maintained impact resistance. This ensures durability and long-term reliability of agricultural equipment.

Tillage machines with exceptional resistance to material fatigue

The cleaning elements of the machine's tillage roller are made of Swedish abrasion-resistant sheets. Hardox is the world's leading abrasion-resistant steel. It is hard throughout its entire thickness, from the surface to the core, ensuring long service life and high productivity in demanding environments. For machine operators, this translates to longer intervals between part replacements. Machine components with high material requirements, such as rotating elements of the drawbar, are made of phosphor bronze. This alloy of copper and tin, with added phosphorus, is resistant to abrasion and crushing. It is used in machine parts subjected to the highest loads and challenging operating conditions. Spring steels used in Rolmako tillage machines are distinguished by their elasticity limit and high fatigue strength. The use of this material for producing the heaviest supporting axles of tillage rollers and other parts susceptible to damage ensures that components subjected to excessive pressure return to their original form. Important properties of spring steel also include damping and absorbing impact loads.

Spheroidal cast iron with high strength for agricultural equipment

The rings of rollers produced in German foundries are made of high-grade spheroidal cast iron GGG50, which offers significantly greater resistance to damage compared to the more commonly used gray cast iron in agriculture. Spheroidal cast iron is characterized by higher strength and plastic properties, reduced tendencies toward stress concentration, fatigue strength, and resistance to mechanical damage. Its flexible properties make spheroidal cast iron the most suitable material for the construction of roller rings under all cultivation conditions, particularly during unforeseen overloads. The use of this iron ensures our machines are highly reliable, and any potential local deformations do not negatively impact the functioning of the cultivation rollers, which remain maintenance-free for many years. In Rolmako's cast iron cultivation rollers, components known from the market's most expensive machines are utilized.

Polymer bushings in holes prone to damage

The conditions in agriculture are harsh and demanding. It is important for components of agricultural machines to operate reliably and withstand daily work. Sometimes, overloads exceed the values accepted by the designer. Our machines can handle such tasks because they are designed specifically for extremely tough climatic and soil conditions. Particularly stressed in Rolmako machines are the pivot points of the drawbar hitch beam, the connections of cultivation rollers, and the sliding elements of the frame. Here, IGUS bushings come to the rescue; tightly fitting in the hole, they surpass the durability of the best-grade steels. Resistant to dirt and dust, weatherproof, vibration-damping with high mechanical stability, and additionally easy to replace, they extend the operating life of the cultivation machines.
