Disc harrow designed for specialized tasks

The heavy stubble harrow U 671 is ideal for stubble cultivation, effectively replacing ploughing. During stubble cultivation, the heavy frame ensures proper weighting of each disc. With the optimal disc shape and angle of attack, one pass with the machine is sufficient to cultivate the soil appropriately. The robust U 671 harrow, featuring a large gap between the discs, performs well in conditions where the soil dries quickly and becomes extremely hard, rendering classic tools ineffective. The machine is available in two versions: standard and PRO, with the primary difference being the location of the transport trolley behind or in front of the tillage roller.

Effective cultivation result

This disc harrow provides a single-pass effect of undercutting and mixing crop residues that competitors cannot achieve even after performing the operation twice. Challenging tasks on stubble after corn harvested for grain and fallow cultivation are executed with unprecedented precision and effectiveness. The U 671 disc harrow is designed for fast and efficient soil preparation, even at minimal working depths. Its design ensures easy soil penetration through the proper distribution of mass. Experience indicates that greater clearance under the frame offers enhanced capabilities, particularly with substantial plant residues. This proposal caters to demanding customers, guaranteeing extended usage without the need for frequent replacement of consumable parts.

Oversized key components

The heavy stubble harrow is a high-quality design tested in the most challenging soil conditions. The machine frame, working elements, transport system, and hydraulic system have proven their reliability during extensive cultivation tests. The greatest pressure on the cultivated soil per working element allows the machine to penetrate the ground easily, even in very tough conditions. The U 671 disc harrow can successfully compete with the most expensive machines of premium brands, surpassing competitors' products in most factors.

Machine construction

1. Rear LED lighting beam

Optionally, the LED lighting beam can be equipped with a license plate frame with illumination for machines that will be registered at the transport office.

2. Drawbar hitch

Due to the incorporation of washers and bushings crafted from highly durable materials, the drawbar eliminates the need for lubrication. It features replaceable hardened hitch tips. Optional coupling forms include a drawbar eye or a K80 ball hitch.

3. Massive drawbar

Drawbar with swinging beam of tractor hitch Category III, optionally Category IV. The design of the drawbar, mounted high on the machine, facilitates easier entry of the harrow into the cultivated soil. The robust, oversized drawbar ensures excellent stability during both cultivation work and transportation to the field.

4. Transport carriage

The transport trolley positioned in front of the tillage roller optimizes weight distribution on the machine, enabling efficient and smooth field operation and ensuring enhanced stability of the disc harrow during road transport.

5. Two brake options

Agricultural machines and their combinations exceeding a total weight of 3500 kg must be equipped with pneumatic or hydraulic brakes for movement on public roads. Machines surpassing this weight that are not equipped with such brakes are prohibited from traveling on public roads.

6. Supporting wheels

For large machines, the manufacturer recommends equipping them with optional support wheels to better maintain the working depth and relieve the load on the tractor's hydraulic lift system.

7. Working elements

The OFAS discs, with a diameter of 620 mm and a thickness of 6 mm, are manufactured using a specialized heat treatment method to ensure maximum strength and durability. The large size of the discs significantly reduces the cost of servicing the machine by using more material.

8. Bearing of working discs

The hubs are designed for 620 mm or larger discs, offering a 100% maintenance-free, durable solution for heavy machines. Users of Rolmako disc harrows can rely on the durability of the bearing units. Top-class 7-lip seals, combined with a double-row bearing, constitute one of the strongest solutions available on the market.

9. Long Life rubber shock absorbers

Rubber spring elements allow for precise adjustment of the recessed discs to the contours of the cultivated soil. The 50 mm x 210 mm rubber rollers absorb sudden impacts due to their extensive cushioning path. This ensures the safety of the disc harrow arm and provides absolutely maintenance-free overload protection while maintaining the specified working depth.

10. Leveling disc with shock absorber

The side screen, shaped like a bearing disc, ensures soil retention within the crop width, preventing soil displacement onto previously cultivated field sections. This feature is crucial for pre-sowing crops.

11. Spring comb beam

The 13 mm thick finger comb is mounted between the discs and/or in front of the tillage roller. This option ensures unobstructed operation when processing a large volume of soil.

12. Tillage roller

To cultivate the soil effectively, selecting the appropriate tillage roller is essential. The choice depends on the soil type and the desired outcome. Each roller variant is designed for specific working conditions.

13. Adjusting the working depth

The hydraulic adjustment of working depth, facilitated by spacer clips on the cylinders, is designed to be easy and operator-friendly.

14. Automatic arm lock

The transport lock is automatically engaged by a spring-loaded latch, which is released by a single-acting hydraulic cylinder.

15. Adjustment of the row of disc

The heavy stubble harrow is equipped with a rear beam adjustment system. This feature enables the rear discs to be adjusted relative to the front ones, ensuring optimal configuration of the working section at each stage of disc wear.
