The heavy stubble harrow U 671 is ideal for stubble cultivation, effectively replacing ploughing. During stubble cultivation, the heavy frame ensures proper weighting of each disc. With the optimal disc shape and angle of attack, one pass with the machine is sufficient to cultivate the soil appropriately. The robust U 671 harrow, featuring a large gap between the discs, performs well in conditions where the soil dries quickly and becomes extremely hard, rendering classic tools ineffective. The machine is available in two versions: standard and PRO, with the primary difference being the location of the transport trolley behind or in front of the tillage roller.
Disc harrow designed for specialized tasks
Effective cultivation result
This disc harrow provides a single-pass effect of undercutting and mixing crop residues that competitors cannot achieve even after performing the operation twice. Challenging tasks on stubble after corn harvested for grain and fallow cultivation are executed with unprecedented precision and effectiveness. The U 671 disc harrow is designed for fast and efficient soil preparation, even at minimal working depths. Its design ensures easy soil penetration through the proper distribution of mass. Experience indicates that greater clearance under the frame offers enhanced capabilities, particularly with substantial plant residues. This proposal caters to demanding customers, guaranteeing extended usage without the need for frequent replacement of consumable parts.
Oversized key components
The heavy stubble harrow is a high-quality design tested in the most challenging soil conditions. The machine frame, working elements, transport system, and hydraulic system have proven their reliability during extensive cultivation tests. The greatest pressure on the cultivated soil per working element allows the machine to penetrate the ground easily, even in very tough conditions. The U 671 disc harrow can successfully compete with the most expensive machines of premium brands, surpassing competitors' products in most factors.

Discs 620 mm x 6 mm
The combination of the shape of the disc and the optimal angle of the disc arm has made it possible to achieve full-surface cultivation from a working depth of just 7 cm. Discs with a large diameter and thickness provide several times more material for wear compared to smaller working elements. This maximizes the machine's operating time and reduces servicing costs. The quality of the steel and the experience gained from many years of production by the Italian company OFAS guarantees a high-quality product that has already been approved worldwide.
Disc attack angle
The significant distance between the disc working elements and the substantial clearance under the machine frame are essential features that, combined with the aggressive angle of attack of the working elements, facilitate effective performance on corn stubble and other challenging crops. The optional PRO+ beam is the result of designers' efforts to achieve an enhanced full-surface undercut by operating the disc harrow as shallowly as possible. The optimal geometry of the discs ensures high-quality work with excellent efficiency and a significant proportion of mixed plant residues. Even with partial disc wear, the ideal working angle is maintained.

Finger comb beam
The tool, placed between the rows of two disc sections, has adjustable working height and angle of inclination. It controls the flow of soil with mixed organic residues and improves the distribution of stubble residues over the entire field surface. The finger weeder operates without direct contact with the soil, retaining the soil, and allowing the rear disc section to work freely without issues dealing with a large amount of soil. The weeder can additionally be mounted between the rear disc beam and the finishing roller, thus regulating the flow of the cultivated mass onto the finishing roller.
Spring comb beam
The manufacturer optionally installs a beam with a spring comb behind the disc section, ensuring the straw is evenly spread across the field's surface, thereby preventing areas of high straw accumulation that hinder proper cultivation. Uniform straw distribution is crucial, as it ensures consistent development conditions for the next crop across the entire field. The spring comb is an effective tool that enhances cultivation, offering optimal starting conditions for sown plants.
APV aftercrop seeder
We equip our cultivation machines with catch crop seeders in partnership with specialists from APV, who provide a wide range of catch crop and fertilizer seeders. The complete product range and available accessories can be found on the manufacturer's website (https://www.apv-polska.pl). Utilizing APV catch crop seeders on Rolmako cultivation machines reduces unnecessary travel. APV devices ensure precise spreading of catch crops and subsowing, even in the smallest doses.
Tillage rollers
Kneading, compacting the soil, crushing clods, and leveling the field surface are the final stages of cultivation, performed by the rear roller following the working tools of the cultivation machines. The selection of the appropriate cultivation roller significantly impacts the entire work process and the functionality of the cultivation machine. At Rolmako, we offer a variety of cultivation rollers that differ in shape, material, external diameter, weight, and, most importantly, cultivation purpose. The choice of roller depends on the soil type and the desired cultivation outcome. Rolmako provides expert advisory services to ensure proper adjustment of the cultivation machine to the working conditions.
The primary properties
Disc hub
The maintenance-free hub features a robust large angular contact ball bearing mounted on a hardened axle, capable of carrying very heavy loads. The bearing requires no maintenance (no lubrication points), is perfectly sealed, and protected against contamination. It is a fully integrated hub bearing system, sealed and filled with grease for the unit's entire service life. Additionally, the hub's service life is three times longer than that of a traditional bearing. This extension improves machine service life, reduces failures, and saves both time and money.
LongLife rubber shock absorber
Each disc is independently mounted to the frame using a 40 mm x 180 mm rubber shock absorber, ensuring consistent maintenance of the working depth, an aggressive cultivation effect, and protection against damage. Rubber spring elements allow optimal adjustment of the recessed discs to the soil contours. The rubber rollers prevent sudden impacts with their extended shock absorption path. This ensures the safety of the disc harrow frame and maintenance-free overload protection while maintaining the set depth.
Adjustment of the row of disc
The heavy stubble harrow U 671 features rear beam adjustment. This system allows the rear discs to be moved relative to the front ones, optimizing the working section at each stage of disc wear. This important parameter allows for optimal cultivation in changing conditions. The standard mechanical adjustment of this parameter is quick; simply unlock the shift by unscrewing the screw, sink the harrow into the ground, and slowly move the tractor forward or backward, finally securing it with a screw. An optional hydraulic variant of shifting the rear beam with discs for rigid machines is also available.
Supporting wheels
Wide front support wheels deliver exceptional control over working depth, enhancing stabilization and offering additional support to relieve the three-point tractor suspension system. The large wheel diameter ensures smooth operation on uneven fields, guarantees precise performance with wide machinery, and positively impacts cultivation quality by stabilizing the machine during operation.
Transport carriage
Trailed disc harrows come with a hydraulic drive system that lifts during cultivation, adding extra weight to the harrow. Its placement in front of the tillage roller is crucial as it shifts the center of gravity toward the tractor, enhancing weight distribution. The disc harrow can operate at speeds up to 15 km/h, efficiently leveling the field. Road transport is safer since the machine's wheels bear most of the pressure, significantly reducing the load on the tractor's lift.
Hydraulic adjustment of working depth
Hydraulic depth adjustment ensures optimum comfort of use and significantly facilitates activities related to setting this work parameter. The hydraulic adjustment of working depth, which is easy and operator-friendly, is conducted using spacer clips on cylinders. This option is justified when frequent changes in the working depth of the machine's elements are required.
Modern construction
The three-part frame of the machine facilitates better weight distribution, with the wings of the disc harrow being lighter. This design allows for the repositioning of the middle roller, enabling the rollers to overlap. Unlike rollers mounted in a single line, this configuration completely eliminates the potential for blockages. Placing the axle in front of the tillage rollers offers several advantages, including the ability to mount the rollers in a tandem system and improving the machine's performance on roads and in the field. The entire series of Rolmako U 671 PRO disc harrows is designed to work with high-power tractors, delivering optimal performance at high working speeds.
Bearing units of the roller
By incorporating maintenance-free bearings into the tillage rollers, we minimize the required machine maintenance time. The ductile cast iron housing is four times more durable than its grey cast iron counterpart. The combination of top and internal sealing offers superior protection for agricultural use. Rolmako prioritizes the smallest machine elements in every project, significantly impacting maintenance time and reducing the costs and duration of agricultural equipment inspections.
Steel offering a competitive advantage
Increasingly larger and more powerful agricultural tractors subject the structural elements of agricultural machinery to significant stress, pushing them to their operational limits. Modern agricultural structures are expected to demonstrate high resistance to loads and an extended service life. Achieving a high-quality end product necessitates the use of superior-quality steel in production. Accordingly, we utilize high-quality Swedish fine-grained steels S500MC and S700MC, as well as carbon and boron steels for heat treatment and the wear-resistant Hardox. The use of these high-quality steel products ensures our agricultural equipment is highly durable and capable of operating at high speeds with high surface efficiency.
