For many years, Rolmako has specialized in providing solutions for pre-sowing cultivation. New unit designs stem from the company's experience and development efforts. The compact cultivation unit is a new proposal designed for pre-sowing cultivation, fully equipped to meet all the requirements of a farmer seeking precise field preparation for optimal crop development. The U 684 units for pre-sowing cultivation are modern, economical tools that save costs needed for soil preparation before sowing. Units equipped with a seeder coupler serve as efficient cultivation and seeding sets. The machine is designed for effective field preparation for sowing, with a construction that reduces the number of necessary passes.
Cultivation equipment for diverse soil conditions, optimal opportunities for seed germination
Cultivation of heavily compacted, hard soil, and leveling of uneven field surfaces
The ideal seedbed is achieved when fine-grained, well-crushed soil remains in the sowing zone after cultivation, with more cloddy soil on the surface. These conditions are created after cultivation with the Rolmako compact unit. Utilizing the Rolmako pre-sowing cultivator enables all necessary operations for exceptional seedbed preparation to be combined in one pass. Additionally, the compact unit can function as a cultivation roller by lifting the tines above the soil surface. The front and rear rollers, along with two harrows, can level the field surface and break up clods. Driving the rollers after post-harvest cultivation accelerates the decomposition of crop residues.
Working elements for autumn or spring soil preparation prior to sowing
Compact tillage units are the premier machines for pre-sowing cultivation. Each model is engineered for challenging conditions to fulfill the requirements of contemporary farms. A wide range of accessories ensures that every farmer can find a solution tailored to their needs. The units feature robust frame construction and are equipped with the most durable reinforced tines, arranged in either 2 or 4 rows. All variants of tines for compact tillage units are high-quality components that ensure high wear resistance and help reduce operating costs. This combination with front and rear tillage rollers, two leveling drags, and an optional seeder coupler optimizes cultivation efficiency.

Looseners of tractor traces
When working with soils sensitive to compaction and reduced working depth, the use of tractor wheel track eradicators is advisable. Positioned directly behind the tractor, these eradicators lift, loosen, and level soil compacted by the wheels. The position of the wheel track eradicators can be adjusted both horizontally and vertically. The spring-loaded working element ensures consistent release force. Effective loosening of the tractor wheel tracks eliminates uneven plant emergence post-sowing.
Front leveling drag
The front drag is designed to pre-level and break up larger clods. Due to the leveled surface, all tines operate at the same depth. This is an effective levelling tool. Depth adjustment is achieved by inserting the pin into the appropriate hole without tools. The front drag is mechanically adjusted and features overload protection through spring amortisation. The precisely leveled soil surface enables even compaction and loosening of the seedbed. The front drag used in cultivators has a simple, solid, and reliable design.
Front string roller
The front string roller function is to crush large clumps before the tine section. In the Rolmako U 684 units, a 450 mm diameter roller is utilized, which does not penetrate the ground, thereby maintaining an even working depth. In the U 684 cultivation units, a pipe roller of the same diameter can be substituted for the front string roller.
Tillage rollers
Kneading, compacting the soil, crushing clods, and leveling the field surface are the final stages of cultivation, performed by the rear roller following the working tools of the cultivation machines. The selection of the appropriate cultivation roller significantly impacts the entire work process and the functionality of the cultivation machine. At Rolmako, we offer a variety of cultivation rollers that differ in shape, material, external diameter, weight, and, most importantly, cultivation purpose. The choice of roller depends on the soil type and the desired cultivation outcome. Rolmako provides expert advisory services to ensure proper adjustment of the cultivation machine to the working conditions.

Standard or PRO version
The primary distinctions between the standard and PRO versions of the unit are found behind the tine section. The standard version features a rear pipe roller (optionally, another available as an option) and a drag with spring pressure behind the roller. The PRO version comes standard with a double Crosskill roller with a 400 mm diameter. Optionally, a string finishing roller made of a flat bars with a 270 mm diameter can be installed behind the cast iron rollers. The drag situated between the tines and the tillage roller is available as optional equipment.
Various types of tines
The possibility of choosing from several types of working sections makes the compact U 684 cultivation unit the most universal pre-sowing machine on the market. The device has a durable frame construction and is equipped with the strongest reinforced tines in various variants, which are arranged in 2 or 4 rows. The frame of the unit is compatible with all working sections, so they can be freely exchanged and one machine can be used for many crops. All variants of tines for compact cultivation units are high-quality components that guarantee high resistance to wear and contribute to lower operating costs.
Frame amortization
The arms of the hydraulically folded machine are equipped with shock absorption, functioning concurrently as a ground-following mechanism. This feature facilitates operations on uneven terrain and protects the frame of the U 684 compact unit by absorbing vibrations, thereby extending the frame's lifespan. A robust spring mitigates vibrations transferred to the machine's arms, enhancing the cultivation effect.
Depth adjustment
Depth adjustment must be precise, quick, and easy to perform. The tillage unit features convenient cranks for adjusting the depth of spring tines. Setting this parameter does not rely on the tractor's hydraulic system. Depth adjustments are made without additional tools.
Seeder coupler
The compact cultivation unit is designed to be compatible with any grain seeder. The universal seeder hitch features adjustable hook spacing for connecting an accompanying machine. An optional coupler for grain seeder or Cambridge roller is available for semi-mounted machines with a rigid or hydraulically foldable frame. When connected to a grain seeder, the unit forms a cultivation and seeding set that does not strain the tractor's lift system, enabling operation with tractors of lower lifting capacity. The U 684 compact cultivation unit, equipped with a hitch for an accompanying machine, functions as a traditional semi-mounted compactor, efficiently performing all soil preparation and sowing tasks in a single pass, even under challenging conditions. This enhances farm profitability and reduces cultivation time.
Various configurations available
Extensive export experience has enabled us to craft an offer aligned with customer expectations. Numerous configurations and additional agricultural equipment options allow us to adapt the device to specific field conditions. Years of dedicated efforts by Rolmako employees in enhancing the company's products ensure we deliver the highest quality products to the most remote regions, where they have proven effective in diverse soil systems.
Oversized agricultural structures
Rolmako tillage machines distinguish themselves from competitors due to their superior weight. The company's development team designs agricultural equipment to endure the most challenging working conditions. Rolmako machines efficiently cultivate land in demanding regions worldwide without requiring additional loads. The substantial amount of steel in their construction makes these tillage tools robust, enabling the utilization of high-power modern tractors and ensuring long-term farm investment.
Steel providing an advantage
Increasingly larger and more powerful agricultural tractors subject the structural elements of agricultural machinery to significant stress, pushing them to their operational limits. Modern agricultural structures are expected to demonstrate high resistance to loads and an extended service life. Achieving a high-quality end product necessitates the use of superior-quality steel in production. Accordingly, we utilize high-quality Swedish fine-grained steels S500MC and S700MC, as well as carbon and boron steels for heat treatment and the wear-resistant Hardox. The use of these high-quality steel products ensures our agricultural equipment is highly durable and capable of operating at high speeds with high surface efficiency.
